Focus-Spezial: SGM Solutions & Global Media GmbH is among the fastest growing companies – “Wachstumschampion 2017”

SGM Solutions & Global Media GmbH is among the fastest growing companies of 2017. This award is the result of a study put together by the news magazine, Focus, together with the data company, Statista, to determine which German companies have the highest revenue growth.

The list of the top 500 fastest growing companies includes companies, which have achieved an especially high percentage of growth per year between 2012 and 2015.  Companies that are privately owned, as well as listed companies, were taken into consideration. These companies operate independently, are not subsidiaries, have their head offices in Germany and a revenue of at least 100,000 euros in 2012 and a revenue of at least 1.8 million euros in 2015. Statista has filtered out thousands of companies with above-average growth from more than 1.9 million commercial register entries. 12,500 were invited to apply for “Wachstumschampion 2017” – in addition, other companies were invited to submit applications online. In addition to general information about the company, the sales figures had to be confirmed in writing by an authorised person.
